
MOVE UP Project COVID-19 Response Efforts
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Move Up Project has conducted several efforts to help its partner communities through the provision of multi-purpose cash support, distribution of hygiene kits and personal protective gear to frontliners, distribution of vegetable packs for healthy meals and handing out of information, education and communication materials on financial literacy and personal hygiene.
The efforts covered Marikina City, Quezon City, Valenzuela City, Caloocan City, Malabon City, and Navotas City in Metro Manila, Cebu City in Visayas and Iligan, Cagayan de Oro, Tandag, Kidapawan, Marawi, Bukidnon, Misamis Oriental, Surigao del Sur and North Cotabato in Mindanao.
The Move Up Project is an urban resilience effort and part of the #EUHumanitarianAid funded by the European Union Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid and implemented by Plan International Philippines, CARE Philippines, Action Against Hunger Philippines and ACCORD Incorporated.
